We Made It Finally....

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know that we made it here to Mexico and to Refuge Ranch. After a couple of delays while we were in Charlotte, we were able to start south. It was a very rough (turbulent) flight, but once we landed and got through imigration and security, we enjoyed soaking in the 76 degree temperatures and some sun...at last! They've been experiencing alot of rain here while yet in their dry season and the dust still kicks up. I'm still amazed at the traffic coming/going in all different directions and people honking for no apparent reason. We had to take a little bit of a different route to avoid the streets that were still being repaired from the flooding. It was great to have the windows down and the wind blowing in our faces in that big white van - even if we were getting a mouth and nose full of dust!

We will start out early in the morning to head south to Acapulco. Part of the medical team is already here to stay at the ranch tonight so it's truly a housefull tonight. The changes in the building has come such a long way and it was fun to take a walk through as preparations are being made for the Marshalls to move in. I was trying to spot that same (column) that we took the original team picture around. I will try to post some pictures when we get back.

I will cut this short as it's been a very long day after a very short night - a full night of sleep missed to get to head to the airport in Indy at 1:00 a.m. Emy and I will be heading to the hotel tonight and will try to catch up on sleep before the morning comes.

Love to you all,
Teresa
